DESCRIPTION

PDO Côtes de Provence Fréjus
Terroir:
Located on the ancient terroir of Frejus between the Massif des Maures and the Esterel, south facing lands from ancient alluvial deposits represented by marine pliocene composed of fine sands and clays.
Grapes:
A blend of grape varieties make up this wine: Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Tibouren.
The vineyard :
Vines trellised on 5 threads, plowing of the grounds and grassing mastered a row out of two, without the use of the chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides, harvest only by hand transport in box.
Vinification:
Respect of the Biological specifications, the harvest is destemmed, followed by a pellicular maceration. The pressing is pneumatic then stabulation of cold juices, the fermentation is carried out at low temperature, clarification then filtration and bottling at the Domaine.
Tasting notes:
Beautiful pale skin color with a beautiful shine. Expressive nose combining fresh notes of citrus, with floral notes of violet evolving on dried fruits. The palate is full-bodied, light and gourmet with an apricot and cherry core finish.
Food and wine associations:
A rosé of mouth that will find its place of the entry to the dessert and will side with delight and harmony the Mediterranean gastronomy. We recommend it on a grilled fish accompanied by stuffed Provencal.
